It’s @#!$%^& Freezing: Layer UP!

Um, so, it was really, REALLY cold and snowy and rainy last week. And, word on the street is that there might just very well be record-breaking cold across the U.S. this week. While some institutions are planning to close their doors, many of us still have to literally weather the storm, suit up, and show up to work, school, and other professional and social obligations. So, we scoured the Web and found some great inspiration for menswear and menswear inspired snow style layers to give you all some ideas for avoiding frostbite.

1. Queer style blogger and dapperQ contributor Allison Graham donned some amazing cold weather worthy dapper style on her Instagram.

2. This chilly weather is just another (freezing) walk in the park for the Maine-based queer style bloggers at Jack Tar 207. Here is Jack Tar’s Location Scout/Photography Assistant Shana Natelson in some seriously stylish layers.

3. Menswear style blog Uncrate has some great recommendations and inspiration on how to layer up for winter. We love these stills because they can serve as a guide for you to “shop your own closet” for similar items that you may already own.

4. GQ did a spread on how to dress for a “coatless winter” featuring hip hop artist Big Sean. However, were definitely going to need a coat here. Big Sean’s styles are a good base, though. Throw a massive, heavy duty coat over these layers, and the only thing cold you’ll feel is all the icy looks from the haters.
